歌手・安室奈美恵の新曲「BRIGHTER DAY」が、女優・沢尻エリカ主演のフジテレビ系ドラマ『ファーストクラス』（10月15日スタート、毎週水曜 後10：00）の主題歌に決定。安室との初コラボに沢尻は「安室奈美恵さんに主題歌を歌っていただけると聞いて、大変嬉しく光栄な事と思っています」と喜びを語った。
Namie Amuro's new single "BRIGHTER DAY" will be the title song for Fuji TV's new drama "First Class 2 " starred by Sawajiri Erica on February 22:00 of Oct. 15. Sawajiri said happily "It was my pleasure to have Amuro san sing the title song."

ドラマに華を添える「BRIGHTER DAY」は、イントロのストリングスが印象的な透明感あふれるミディアムナンバー。歌詞はドラマのために書き下ろされ、“立ち止まることもあるけれど、選んだ道を一緒に歩いて行こう”というメッセージが込められている。
"BRIGHTER DAY" brightened the drama with its transparent and clean string of intro. The tailored lyrics sent a message about "no matter what barriers in front of you, I will walk with you on the chosen road."
同ドラマは、今年4月期に放送され話題を呼んだ『ファースト・クラス』の続編で、終了からわずか4ヶ月での復活となった。出版社からファッションブランド業界へと舞台を移し、新進気鋭のデザイナーとして働く主人公・吉成ちなみ（沢尻）のその後を描く。
First class 2 was a consecutive drama of the same title, and first season had aired in April, 2014, and the consecutive drama would focus on the lead's new life stage as a fresh designer.
